GATE OBVIOUSLY NOT USED |
A photographic view in monochrome.... I use various techniques to enhance and give atmosphere to the images....... I enjoy breaking the so called photographic rules. I have a special interest in the genre of mystical landscapes, gothic buildings and graveyards, crumbling castles, haunted houses, ruins, grotesques and gargoyles. A lot of this old gates you can find in Italy, too. I like them, because of the "stories" the tell us in our phantasie. I wish you happy easter and a lot of fun. Hugs from Luzia.
What a kind invitation. Hopefully only friends did come in.
Thank you for opening me eyes on a subject not thought of yet. Please have a good Wednesday.
I wonder what it is in our brain that attracts us to these subjects?
im a fan of gates and doors myself, it's always interesting trying to work out the history surround it.
the goodbyes, the welcome homes etc.

In my opinion, your photo is a metaphor for individual sense of nostalgia. Especially with this beautiful sepia tone.
